Operations Technician at Västfastigheter Drift

Västfastigheter Drift is responsible for operations, supervision, maintenance, and customer service.

We currently have an open position for an operations technician in our Elevator and Door unit, located at Östra sjukhuset. We are looking for an engaged technician who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team!

Job Description

In your role as an operations technician for door environments, you will primarily work with supervision and maintenance actions as well as corrective maintenance of doors and locks. You will also work with service and installations for our customers. With the support of the operations manager and colleagues, you will handle and prioritize work orders; the work is varied and stimulating, where you take significant personal responsibility.

Our operations and service activities are organized according to technical areas. Your unit's responsibilities include door environments with associated controls, automation, and locks. The unit also employs 5 door technicians, 5 elevator technicians, and a technician responsible for patient lifts and pneumatic tubes. You may also need to assist with operational issues in other departments besides door environments as needed. You are responsible for reporting actions in our business system and managing the initial review of generated invoices.

Travel between hospitals in Gothenburg may occur in this position. On-call duty may be included, where you, together with other on-call staff, will assist in resolving faults in all installations within the properties as needed.

We are responsible for Östra sjukhuset, Sahlgrenska, Mölndals sjukhus, and Högsbo närsjukhus.

The position is based at Östra sjukhuset but may change if the need arises.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, skilled at building communicative networks, and has an easy time collaborating with others. You have a professional and service-oriented work approach, and you possess good coordination skills. You are meticulous and action-oriented, able to take initiative, and accustomed to independently taking responsibility for and solving emerging problems. As a person, you value working alongside engaged colleagues and take pride in your professional role. Shared responsibility for your and your team's delivery is a given for you.

For this position, you need to have a technical high school education with a focus on electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent education or experience deemed comparable. Your knowledge of the Office suite is good, and you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Since travel is involved in the work, a B driver's license is also a requirement for the position.

It is desirable if you have:

• B or higher electrical authorization and experience working with work orders
• previous experience in servicing doors and gates with associated automation and systems
• worked in a role that requires broad knowledge of operations.
